Who we are
This policy describes cookies on growatree.uk, operated by [OPERATOR NAME]. Questions can be sent to contact@growatree.uk. Our Privacy Policy explains the rest of the personal data we process.
What cookies we use
A cookie is a small piece of data stored by your browser. We use cookies set by Supabase Auth so that the site can remember your login between pages. They are strictly necessary for a service you have asked to log in to. Typical names look like sb-*-auth-token. The exact name depends on the Supabase project.
These cookies:
- store the session that proves you are logged in;
- are refreshed when the session is renewed;
- are removed when you log out, or when you delete your account;
- are not used to track you across other websites, to advertise, or to measure an audience.
The “I’m not a robot” check is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile. It may set a cookie or use similar browser storage on Cloudflare’s domain for the duration of that security check. We do not use it to build a marketing profile.
Why there is no consent banner
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), consent is not required for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested. Our authentication cookies fall into that category. We do not set analytics, advertising, or social-media cookies. Because of that, Grow a Tree does not show a cookie banner.
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for consent first and update this policy.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the authentication cookies, you will need to log in again on each visit, and some parts of the site, including the dashboard, will not stay signed in.
Logging out of Grow a Tree clears the session cookie for this site. Deleting your account removes the account the cookie pointed at.
More about your data
Cookies that keep you logged in are part of providing your account. The lawful basis and your rights, including access, erasure, and a complaint to the ICO, are explained in the Privacy Policy.
